 Hello! My name is Martha Balzano and I hold a BS in Psychology from Purdue University Global. I am currently pursuing an M.Ed in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Lindsey Wilson College and am working toward licensure as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC). My experience has primarily been with children and adolescents, helping them navigate challenges related to autism spectrum disorder, depression, and behavioral disorders. I use behavior therapy and cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) in my practice because I value their practical and evidence-based nature in promoting growth and change. What I love most about being a therapist is empowering my clients and witnessing their resilience as they work toward better mental health and having the privilege of walking alongside my clients on their journey, celebrating their resilience, and seeing their confidence and hope grow. When I’m not working, I enjoy curling up with a good book, gardening, or diving into adventures with friends in Dungeons & Dragons.
